Your children are most welcome to English Sunday School at the Olari church on Sundays this Spring! Bring your children to the club wing of the Olari church and you parents can attend the Sunday Mass at the Church. The Sunday School lasts about half an hour. There are two agegroups, 4-7 years and 8-12 years.

Sunday School is led by the volunteers and the Christian programme consist arts and crafts and Bible themes.

Please note to parents that you are reachable during the Mass. Before the communion, fetch your children back to church.

The Mass will be in Finnish, but the translations of the Bible texts and themes will be available by the counter when entering the church.

Sunday School is organized with the Chinese Lutheran Christians in Southern Espoo.

What is Sunday School?

In Finland, "Sunday school" refers to Christian education classes, typically held on Sundays, that are run by local churches and Christian organizations. These classes are similar to those in other countries, involving Bible stories, songs, crafts, and prayers, and are designed to teach Christian values and faith to children. Many churches, especially international ones, offer classes in both Finnish and English. 

Englanninkielinen pyhäkoulu Olarin kirkolla sunnuntaisin

Olarin kirkon kerhosiivessä pidetään englanninkielistä pyhäkoulua joka sunnuntai klo 10.  Pyhäkoulu kestää noin puoli tuntia. Vanhemmat voivat sillä välin osallistua messuun ja hakea lapsensa kirkkosaliin ennen ehtoollista. Pyhäkoulussa on ryhmät 4–7-vuotiaille ja 8–12-vuotiaille.
