At Leppävaara Church, parking is allowed for 2 hours with a parking disc. You can extend your parking time by 5 hours by entering your vehicle registration number on a tablet located in the main lobby or in the B-wing lobby of the church.

At Tapiola Church, parking control by Parkkipate Ltd started on 8 June. Parking is free for 2 hours with a parking disc, and you can extend it by 5 hours using a tablet in the main lobby. Clear parking instructions are shown on signs installed in the parking areas by Parkkipate Ltd.

When using an electric vehicle charging space, your car must be connected to the charger and actively charging.

At Olari Church, parking is also limited to 2 hours with a parking disc. If needed, visitors can extend their parking time by up to 5 additional hours using a device in the church lobby. Parking at Olari Church is also monitored by Parkkipate Ltd.

Accessible parking spaces are located at the end of the driveway, at the side of the church building. There is also an elevator near the stairs on the side of the Gräsa urn cemetery leading to the upper courtyard. At Olari Church, drop-off for people with reduced mobility is allowed in front of the main entrance.

Due to roadworks, access to Olari Church from Merituulentie and Olarinluoma is currently closed. A detour is in use, and visitors are asked to allow extra travel time when coming to the church.

At Espoonlahti Church, the church’s own parking area is still available but limited in size. Nearby parking spaces maintained by the City of Espoo have recently become paid parking.

Public Transport

The metro provides convenient access to Espoonlahti, Olari and Tapiola churches, as the stations are located nearby. Drivers can also use park-and-ride facilities at metro stations. More information about park-and-ride is available on the HSL website.

Please always check local parking signs and remember to use a parking disc or pay any required parking fees.

Changes in Public Transport in Summer 2026

There will be major changes to train services in Espoo during summer 2026 due to railway works.
Up-to-date information is available on the VR website, and replacement bus services can be found on HSL’s website and route planner.

If you are visiting locations such as Kauklahti Chapel or other places along train lines, we recommend checking possible disruptions and parking arrangements in advance.

We will also share updates about traffic arrangements caused by roadworks on the City of Espoo website and on the Espoo parishes’ website.
